Earlier this week Burberry presented its Fall 2020 collection at London Fashion Week. Since his tenure at Burberry, Riccardo Tisci has completely revamped the brand’s aesthetic, introducing a whole new Burberry to fans both new, and old. Though this new Burberry has come as a bit of shock to longtime fans of the brand, it has clearly worked as Burberry has become a top of mind brand for a whole new generation. Despite this new aesthetic, Tisci has also made it a point to create designs that work for all ages, introducing a new, and more age inclusive Burberry.
Noticeably absent from Burberry’s FW 2020 runway bags is the brand’s new TB logo. Seen last spring on the brand’s Lola bag as well as adorned on the classic TB bag, this season the brand’s new TB logo was nowhere to be found. The new Society bag made an appearance in stunning woven leathers as well as a new take on the brand’s classic check print. A fresh, and very on trend, half moon shaped silhouette was also shown on the runway. Models clutched all-leather versions of this new structured shape as well as a plaid novelty print. Take a look at all of the bags from the runway below.

I like Burberry’s new direction; there is a lot of variety and something for everyone.
I love this collection, the show was gorgeous. They are doing some good things for Burberry fans. And for the one person that loves to say Tory Burch there is no TB hardware on any of the pics.
Maybe customers complained.
Be patient the logo isn’t gone. There is more to come. 🙂
Agreed! Also, I didn’t mind the “TB” logo, but the comments perpetrated by that person re: the logo was ?.
I really enjoyed this collection and I am SO HAPPY the TB logo is gone!
PS: I love that some of you can’t help yourselves and talk shit about me at every possible occasion! 😉
I’m sorry that you feel PB readers make fun of you, that must make you sad. I don’t know your age, perhaps you are a younger girl or boy, but as one becomes an adult, reaching their maturation level, they develop ways to gain insight into their world and ignore remarks about what other’s think about them. You will understand this more as you grow into adulthood and find your way. Wishing only the best for you!
True. I’m 8 years old. Thanks for your encouraging words grandma.
Of course, you are most welcome! One day I might be a “grandma”, that would be so lovely!
No one is talking ish about you. We all know that you enjoy telling everyone your opinion every single time Burberry comes up and well actually on all brands. So why can’t we do the same. Think positively once in a while. LOL
It’s not in your best interest to engage in a conversation. Every response is viewed as a personal attack.
Yes. Please. Ostracize me.
I enjoy sharing my opinion about all brands, not just Burberry… and I enjoy sharing my opinion with everyone no more and no less than you. Cheers!
And I have never asked that you stop. I am always courteous on here with respect to other people’s preferences.
I appreciate that and I’ll share with you that I found your “Think positively once in a while” followed by an all-caps “LOL” didn’t feel respectful and didn’t feel courteous.
And I’ll reiterate here that I am in full agreement with you: I found the show really lovely. (I have been accused repeatedly of irrationally disliking Burberry as a brand.)
I’m not afraid to converse with you. I always do LOL in caps no disrespect or lack of courtesy was thrown at you. I hate how it looks in lower case letters. At the end of the day they are purses and we all have our preferences. With that being said cheers to you!
Cheers to not being attacked for my opinion!
I’ve never given much thought to Burberry bags, though I would gladly buy a Burberry coat. These aren’t bad. In other news, the saga of the TB/Thomas Burberry/Tory Burch debate is weirdly entertaining.
Yes, it is “weirdly entertaining” because it’s such an odd debate that ruffles feathers.
I neither like nor dislike but I feel like until that “it” item hits, whether a bag, pair of shoes/trainers or a whole aesthetic (thinking of Gucci here), it feels like a brand tends to remain a bit under the radar…
Like what, I’m seeing in the new direction for Burberry!
I like the paillette clutch, wondering if it fits the phone.
